Scout Group Fees

To run the Upton Upon Severn Scout Group successfully, it is necessary to charge some modest fees.  All the money is used to fund the resources and activities undertaken by the children.  The fees are reviewed annually and are kept as low as possible.  The fees for 2022 are as follows:

New Members Fee

​This is a one-off charge of £5.00 to cover the cost of the Necker and joining badges when your child is invested.

Monthly Subscription Fee

​This is an annual payment of £120 split into 12 monthly payments of £10, paid by Direct Debit. We use Online Scout Manager (using GoCardless) to facilitate these payments. This includes our membership fee to the Scouts.

Gift Aid

​We ask all parents to sign a Gift Aid form. This enables us to claim back money from the Government at no extra cost to the parent.

Fund Raising

We run several fundraising activities throughout the year to raise funds to expand the range of activities we do with the children

If families are experiencing financial hardship, please email the group chairman and group scout leader, and we will get back to you ASAP as there may be funding available.
